If the blood pressure is not measured correctly, the readings obtained may be artificially high or low. Several steps ensure that the measured blood pressure truly represents the patient's blood pressure: 

This course teaches students students what is bloodpressure and provides the foundation for properly taking a manual (using a stethoscope and sphygmomanometer) blood pressure. Also provides guidance to interpret obtained results.This course is based on the 2018 American Heart Association guidelines for interpretation of bloodpressure.
