Course Objectives

The BHLS LiveTM is a 4-hour course. Upon completion, the participant should be able to:

♦ Recognize that inhalation is the most common route of exposure in hazmat incidents

♦ Compare and contrast primary contamination with secondary contamination

♦ List the two major goals when using personal protective equipment (PPE)

♦ Describe the signs and symptoms of each of the five major toxidromes
